“Asia Folk 2023” festival
150 participants from 6 countries, such as People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, Republic of Sakha of Russia, Republic of Korea, Poland and Taiwan performed at the stage of the “Asia Folk 2023” folklore and handcraft festival, held in Ulaanbaatar on June 15-20, 2023.
Handcrafters from Japan, India and People’s Republic of China also participated in the festival, presented their handcraft items.
In folklore category participants had competition performances. Delehei, solo artist from Inner Mongolia, China won the Grand Prix, Golden Cup and got cash prize of 10 000 000 tg. Bronze cup went to “LAB Art” project tea, from Indonesia and they received cash prize of 7 000 000 tg. Jury commission made a decision to choose two groups for the Bronze cup and the winners are Korea Folk Arts Troupe from Korea and German and Klavdiia Khatylaevii from Republic of Sakha, Russia. Each of them got 2 000 000 tg for cash prize.

120 participants from 10 countries participated in the festival withy their 21 performances. So, Elena Degtyareva and Tatyana Krasnobaeva, duet musicians from Belarus won the golden diploma and cash prize 500 euro. Silver diploma and cash prize of 300 euro went to Natcharee Khayim, a dancer from Thailand for her wonderful peacock solo dance. And Mr. Jozsef Terek, a musician from Hungary won the bronze diploma and cash prize of 100 euro.
