“Asia Folk 2025” festival
Over 140 artists from 10 countries, including PRC, Korea, Malaysia, Sakha Republic of Russia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Mongolia, India and Poland participated in “Asia Folk 2025” folklore and handcraft festival, held in Ulaanbaatar on June 12-15, 2025. Handcrafters from Japan, India, Vietnam, PRC, Sakha Republic of Russia and Korea also participated in the festival, presented their handcraft items. In folklore category, “Agmat” ethno band from Mongolia won the Golden Cup and got cash prize of 15 000 000 tg. Silver cup went to Mrs. Zolzaya Damba, throat singer from Mongolia and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Trung, musician from Vietnam and they received cash prize of 4 000 000 tg each. Mrs. Albina Degtyarova, a jaw harp musician from Sakha Republic of Russia and “Biyelgee
Dance Connection” ensemble from Mongolia got the bronze cup of the festival and 2 000 000 tg each.
